For West Texas Skate Rats, I designed a brand identity that captures the raw, rebellious energy of their skate culture. The logo, heavily influenced by their hardcore metal roots and DIY spirit, became a central element in the visual language, setting the tone for the rest of the brand. My art direction extended into the shop’s interior, where I played with rough textures, bold typography, and industrial design elements to create a gritty, authentic atmosphere. Every piece—down to the colors and materials—spoke to their mission of building Abilene’s first skate plaza and cultivating a creative hub for local skaters and artists.
